Status Quo with the Bubster. He hung in the 50's for a bit again last night. Glad his reduction is holding so far. He is the only one using the LB in the powder room and the new one I bought yesterday is too small for my big boy. What a mess in the PR.

Forrest: The good news is that if I let him out immediately upon awakening he hasn't had any accidents for 2 mornings now. We are going to finish this round of AB and then go in for a urinalysis. The vet wanted me do it next week, but with him being on an AB, it didn't makes sense to me because the AB she put him on was for toxoplasmosis and isn't the drug choice for a UTI. I wanted to discontinue it but she wants him to finish it in case it is a UTI and some of the bugs get killed off. So, I will wait until the AB is finished and take him 4 days later. That gives him time to relax after 3 vet appointments and an U/S I 10 days.

I'm glad Bubba is doing well. I hope he starts using the other LBs. Glad letting Forrest out first thing seems to have taken care of the accidents.

No, he is doing all his business outside. It's good for mess control, bad for supervision of his BM habits.........I keep checking his bum and it does look like he is pooping......

Here’s the puppy training LB that is like the one loaned to me by a friend for my old Maine coon Bo: he was a big boy, big paws, and mobility issues. Easy entry, capacious space but not ideal if cat is a litter flinger, alas. To that result for Bo, who wasn’t so much a flinger as a tracker (when i used it with litter instead of pee pads), I kept a big washable pee pad under and around it and changed it out with fresh as needed. Made for less sweeping up of stray litter too.

Spunky has been an eager feisty litter flinger from the get go so I had to resort to the extreme opposite of low sided, low entry LB’s for her. The sides on her box are about 16” high!

I have an phone appointment with my AC on Monday. She'll get to the bottom of it. She did last time he was peeing inappropriately. He told her "That house stinks!" She asked me if we were painting or something. Yes, we were painting and refinishing wood floors. She loaned me her ionizer ( I have my own now) and it cleared out the vapors and he stopped peeing immediately!

That's a good idea! As soon as the rain clears out, I will try that! He is smaller than Bubba and will probably be able to fit into the new lower sided LB

I will! She is amazing. She is my homeopathic doctor/ chiropractor and AC ( although she doesn't advertise about the AC) She has helped me out a few times with my dog Lucy and Forrest and once with Bubba. She is truly a gifted healer. She is not allowed to retire!
