I got Brandys fruc. Results Just now. The one she had in June when i got her was 581. This lab uses a different scoring system. Her number was .07 with a range of .61-.089 being good and under .06 being excellent regulation..etc. The vet office said she falls just a bit below an Excellent score.

Glucose; was 460 when i got her..went down to 343 by eliminating dry food and today it is: 98!! I dont have the lab ranges in front of me but they said her numbers were very very good. Any thoughts.??

They said she has the best numbers they've seen in a while..though i don't know How experienced they are or if this site recommends fructosamine tests.

This sounds like great news to me. No ketones. She still seems a bit sleepy but otherwise she's good. Im taking her in again for general blood work this week. I love this sugar kitty. <3

You're not getting many mid-cycle tests around the likely nadir (+5 to +7 hours post-shot), so it is possible she could be going too low or not low enough. Either could cause drowsiness, so a test when you see that may help keep her safe.

We generally suggest you not shoot below 150 mg/dL for safety. Our guidelines for using ProZinc/PZI are here.

Since you're using U-100 syringes and have a spreadsheet up and running, you might start posting in the ProZinc/PZI forum to get more specific feedback.

got the glucose lab ranges and they are 80-200. Hers was 98 :) :) I'm encouraged. She is feeling better today and seems back to normal so far so I'll keep an eye on her.

Thanks. I am going to try and get some mid cycle/nadir numbers this weekend when I'm off of work.
