I think the bouncing may have stopped.... but it could also be because he isn't eating as much as I'd hope!
I'm trying to keep really good track of everything. Our vet suggested we still feed him some dry kibble since that is all he will eat and then attempt to switch over to wet slowly. (I have Weruva Truluxe of all varieties being shipped to us as we speak! As well as Cats In the Kitchen canned) However, right now he is very picky about the wet food and will only nibble on it throughout the day. I just started taking his weight. We will do it every night. He is currently getting approx 100 calories of dry kibble each day. I'm really tempted to give him some Fancy Feast, even though it is a little higher in phosphorus just to make sure he gets in his calories!
I think I'm going to continue to be nervous until I can confirm he isn't losing weight (via our new scale).
