Two weeks ago, I introduced Bones, a most handsome orinch boy who was having health problems, including a DX of diabetes.

Sadly, I heard from Kara, his MamaBean, this week that Bones had passed:

I am sorry to tell you that Bones died this past week. Evidently, he had more complications that we were unaware of. It's been a rough few days. It's just been a very difficult time for us. We did all we could to save him. Bones was only in my life for three months, but his love and presence are lasting. It's amazing how much a furry friend can change your life and help you gain perspective and clarity.

Fly free dear Bones. You are now free of your pain, and know how much you were loved. wings_cat

DCIN had sent Kara Lantus and syringes for Bones. She wants to pass those items along for another diabetic cat. It would be best if we could do this locally, but if someone wants to pay for appropriate (quick) shipping, we can do that too. There is one unopened pen and a box of GNC syringes (31G, short needle, 1/2 units markings). Please PM Venita and The Boyz if you are interested.

This is so sad.

I found Bones so appealing with his handsome face and bandage.

At least he knew love from his foster family...fly free sweet kitty Bones.

There are many at the bridge to greet you. We'll all have a big party some day.

So very sad. At least he knew love, he knew he had a home however brief it might have been.....bless that couple for taking care of him and trying their best to save him. Such a beautiful boy and so young to have had to leave. R.I.P. Bones wings_cat

Sending many cyber hugs to Kara and family. Fly free Bones. You are flying over the Rainbow Bridge whole and healthy, and I know Merlyn will look out for another orinch boy in the spirit world.
