Bogie doing very good on Young Again.

:-D A BIG THANK YOU TO WHOEVER MENTIONED YOUNG AGAIN CAT FOOD TO ME. Bogie is doing extremely well on it. Now he only needs insulin occasionally. He went from 5 U AM and PM to an occasional 1/2 unit. I test his bloods every 12 hours. If he needs a little insulin I also test at Peak (usually 4.5 hours from shot). Last night's preshot was 154 and this morn he was 152. I didn't give him any insulin. He eats only Young again Zero Carb food plus shrimp and tuna flakes. This entire transition took about a month and it was last Friday that his BG's started showing significant drops even with no insulin. Since last Friday he has only gotten insulin 3x and each time was less than a unit. He did lose a few ounces during the transition but the Young Again people said that it to be expected. He is a heathy 16 pounds ( he is a Maine Coon).
