Hey everyone,

I haven't been around for awhile but knew you all would have the answers!

Just as a quick update, Kit has been OTJ since about 2 weeks after his first insulin injection. He is doing great.

I'm sure there are several people here that have had to board their sugar cat for one reason or another. I was wondering what vaccinations were required for boarding and if anyone had experienced any problems with their sugar cat after they had the vaccinations.

Thanks in advance for the help :)

I think it varies by the boarder. Most require current vaccinations but others will forego that with a 'note' from your vet indicating the animal is under vet care.

Hugs - wish I could tell you more....we don't board 19 animals.... :-D 'Course we don't GO anywhere either... :?

Many boarding places require all cats regardless of health status to be up to date on vaccinations. Rabies is usually one of the required vaccinations. A boarding place that I used for a civie also requires the FVRPC vaccination. You can call up a few places and ask for vaccination requirements and boarding pricing and if they will feed the food you provide.
