Hi Everyone, Does anyone have any thoughts on Blue Buffalo Wilderness Cat Food? I only feed Murphy the "Feline Diabetes Approved" Fancy Feast flavors. I was looking at the ingredients in the Blue Buffalo and the Wilderness flavors seem to be OK. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks, Teresa and Murphy

I tried some about a month ago with Bob to introduce some variety. He didn't like the two flavors I bought..duck and something else. Even Mullet my civie wasn't a fan. He ate it but he'd eat tree bark. (He eats grits which I won't go near!). I decided they were too expensive to keep experimenting with. There was no carb data on the new flavors but it looked like they were supposed to be "good".

We have used them in a pinch as well. They are expensive though. You pay for a 3oz can what you would for Merrick in a 5.5oz can. But if I need to find a good no preservative food at petsmart, that is what I get usually.

Cedric has tried all but the duck and has decided after 4 months he doesn't like any. I have fed him that, wellness, Evo, BFF, and a couple of other new ones. he ate the Blue Buff at first, but now turns hs nose up. He loved the wilderness chicken dry....which he doesn't get anymore. He will turn his nose up a little at some of the wellness sometimes, but if it's all he's getting, he'll eat if his hungary!

The grain free ones are low carb and ok to feed, but neither of my cats liked them. You can get better foods for less money, in my opinion (Wellness, EVO, Instinct, Merricks...).
