This morning i was about to check Houdini's blood when he sneezed and a small droplet of blood came out of his nose. His pre meal was the lowest its ever been 127 on the alpha trackII and hes absolutely feisty this morning. Now that hes eaten he seems as happy as clam in mud. We just had those wild fires its still a little smokey and we left the air on all night. Do cats sinuses get dryed out like humans, I am trying not to freak out I dont know if this is one those make an appointment with his vet next week or ER visit time.

I take it you don't usually leave the AC on all night. If you are running it more right now then that could be drying out Houdini's nasal passages. I don't see why their nasal passages would be any different than ours. I wouldn't panic if it was just a spot of blood but I'd certainly keep an eye on him and make a vet appt. if it continues for more than a few days. If it just irritation/dry nasal passages, it could take a couple of days to clear up.
