Blood Sugar Numbers Higher

Hi, our cat's numbers are usually range from 280-380 mg/dl when we test him at 8am and 8pm. He gets 2 units of Lantis, twice a day.

Since his vet visit 8 days ago, his numbers are unusually high. He was in the mid/high 400s this morning when he got his shot at 8. And now, 3 hours later, while lower, he is still in the 400s.

Does anyone have any insight into what could be causing this spike?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome. Are you recording his numbers? We use a common spreadsheet format here that helps us help you. The instructions for the spreadsheet are in the New to the Group Sticky Note. Are you getting any mid day tests between the shots? When we can see the data,we will be able to figure out what is happening.
