? Blood Pressure med. Amlodipine. Dose ?

Morning everyone.

Ty was given BP meds quite a while ago. Recently I needed to renew the script and have just looked at the dosage on the new bottle.

If anyone is giving BP meds and in particular this one, can you post what dosage you are giving please.

The tablets are 2.5mg. I have always thought the dose was 1/4 of a tablet.

Ty is now down to 10lbs.

They come in 5 mg tablets. My Lily is on 2.5 mg day which is 1/2 of a 5 mg tablet. I split them and put a half tab in a pill pocket. She loves them! We started on 1/4 tablet but her blood pressure was still too high. The 1/4 tablet is almost impossible to cut into fourths because they’re so small.

Mine was on 1/4 of a 10 mg tablet. 2.5
