Has any one heard of cats having bloated bellies due to diabetes? Terry's has been feeling quite firm for a while and she's not over weight. She has been treated for worms and she has had a clear ultrasound a couple of months ago.
 
Had she lost weight with the diabetes? She may be catching up now that she's on insulin.
 
Cats can develop constipation, which can happen in diabetics when electrolytes are off among other reasons. Have you noticed any straining, vomiting, or liquid stools? These can indicate constipation.
