Blitzen is still holding his own without insulin. I have a call into the vet and I'm going to e-mail her both cats SS for her to look at. Not sure how a cat with a BG # 618 at DX can go on insulin for one week and then not need it.
As you can see he was at 71, 2 3/4 hours after his morning meal and then 56 at the 4 1/2 hour mark.
