Hi guys!

Sorry I've been slacking on posting - we're doing good aside from just being busy with stupid crap. Also, my girlfriend's laptop went to hell and I have to share my pc until we can get a replacement. Bloody thing costs more to repair than get a new one. Anyway, I didn't even realize it's been more than a week! And can't believe it's almost Friday.

I managed to visit some friends, some relationships have been neglected since we started Lantus... I missed one friend's wedding and he is really pissed off at me. I'm certain they think I'm crazy doing all this for Bj or just making excuses... but whatever. It's a price I have to pay but it's worth it.

I also got to go to the movies. We saw Cloud Atlas which was pretty fantastic.

Bj is doing very well - happy and healthy (and mad because I won't let him outside).

Some little birds told me Bj has hit a dose reduction point. (Thanks little birdies :smile: )
I thought he had to get a below 50 number before a decrease?

I'm really glad you posted with this question. Regardless of the talking birds, we encourage all dose related discussion to be in the public forum so the larger group has your back. There are 2 ways to reduce the dose. For a newly diagnosed cat, a drop in numbers below 50 is the most common means. However, if Bj is in normal numbers for a week, you can then reduce the dose. Bj has been at 0.25u for well over a week so it's time to see how he does at 0.1u. Good luck with the reduction.
