Binnie's 2nd curve: comments and advice welcome

I think the jump from blue to pink at +6 and +8 is because he gets a snack at +7. Also his morning AMPS are not as low as they used to be because I've started withholding a small amt. of his LC wet food at dinnertime and giving it to him 10-11 PM before I go to bed.
Is he ready for another dose decrease?

It was 239 on the 1st of Jan, but he ran low that day.
I won't try another tonight, he's started to pull away from the lancet and I'm afraid I'm going to tear his ear. I'll get it tmw.

Do it on a night that he starts lower. I wouldn’t bother when he starts pink.

OK. By "starts lower" do you mean PMPS? Sorry, still getting used to the lingo.
With one weird exception in mid-December, he's always yellow or pink on the PMPS.

Yes. He’s seeing blue so I think he might see some lower numbers at night as cats often go lower at night. So if you ever see a yellow at night that’s when I would do a before bed check. When would that be for you?

Also from your curve it looks like he could use an increase but not if it’s too hard to test beyond pmps. See what Bron thinks. @Bron and Sheba (GA) I think she’s been helping you the most.

He got a decrease from 5U on the 28 Dec. Bed for me is PM shot +2. I can do a late BG, maybe tmw.
 
If you wake up at night to use the bathroom, see if Binnie is amiable for a test. Most cats are delighted when a human wakes up in the middle of the night.
 
I saw that as he dropped under 90 but he has only hit under 150 once in the past 7 days. See what others think.
