Sorry no one got back with you.

It is unusual, but that can happen. But when it does it is usually part of a cat's norm. We can't say that about Beta yet.

I see you shot 1 unit a hour late on what was basically a steady number. As long as you are set to monitor, that's ok. In this case though, I probably would not have shot anything. Instead, seeing how her numbers continued to go without insulin would have been valuable data. For one thing, you could have told if her nadir was at +12 (although I really doubt it).

As you can see, as often happens, Beta's numbers are usually lower at night. Hopefully you got a nap today ;) See how she looks at 2 hours after that shot. I might not still be here, but I believe you are prepared to handle low numbers. If urgent and you need someone, add a 911 prefix to your thread to get eyes on it if you need help.

Thanks for checking! I did get a reply in the Lantus board since I posted in both places hoping for a reply before shot time. and Beta's +1 is 154 which is good news. Will feed more and still monitor +2 and probably more, I want to be safe. I don't know why her #s looked so strange today, maybe the insulin building up. :)

Fortunately you have been seeing pretty flat curves, so you might be ok if you need some continuous sleep. If so, just leave some regular food in the autofeeder.
