? BG same at AM pre-shot - mid - PM pre-shot

Hi y'all

I have a question about the BG "curve" and what or why there would be no drop / nadir? I have been measuring Momo's BG and just noticed that there is only a small difference. Should i be concerned that the insulin isnt shifting it? And what can i do to shift it??

She is currently on 1unit morning & evening + taking metacam (for arthritis) + antibiotic for a suspected UTI.

On your spreadsheet where it says dx date the year is cut off, can you just put 12/2024 like you have in your signature. I also tagged a member who can help answer your question
What you have on your spreadsheet for the Dx Date is 2/01/202
 
Do you think you'd be able to get a curve soon? It'd be interesting to see a bit more mid cycle data. For today she could have been bouncing. It's also possible that she needs more insulin and that curve would help confirm that.

I had been struggling to get regular tests, but seem to be getting the hang of it now. I have been trying to do pre-insulin ones this week and mid-cycle but its the weekend ahead so hopefully can do a curve. Do you suggest every 2 hours?
 
A curve is either every 2 hour for 12 hours, or every 3 hours for 18. Pick which ever works for you. I do recommend if you see a number in the 100's, that you test again a little sooner than the 2/3 hours, just so you can see how low the dose is taking her.
