That's ok. It's basically the same number actually.

Did you feed at the preshot? Some cats have a spike caused by food. Completely normal. Nothing to worry about. It spikes because the insulin from the last shot has worn off and onset from this past shot hasn't set in yet.

No need to be concerned with those numbers! :smile:
 
The first test after the preshot is usually higher - most often because food raises the number a bit. The other factor is that every meter has a 20% variance. So you can take one test and another 2 minutes later, and it can be a different number. Those two numbers are basically the same.
 
Ok. As long as it's nothing to be worried about. I have an appt and I won't be back for around 3-1/2 to 4 hours.
 
If 2 tests are within 20% of each other, they are essentially the same number.

Ex
100 -> 80 - 120
90- > 78 - 108
The upper estimate of the lower number is greater than the lower estimate of the upper number, so these numbers may be considered the same.
