I have been having a really hard time getting blood. Taking 4-6 tried right now and I use the rice sock, sing, etc. I am trying the other ear to give her left ear some rest, but she doesn't like me touching that one as much and it's a struggle.

She's been so high lately that today's low scared me. I have to test her again in 15m to see what she's at because she is getting too low before her nadir hits, which is usually around +5, +5.5

Its funny because it's the first green I've seen and now I am panicking!
 
Are you feeding her a little LC food with every test? You needn't test more often than every half hour when the numbers are over 50 (2.8).
 
She's now at 2.6 (46.8). She's not showing any signs of danger, but still. I don't get why it's so much lower today than every other day. Sigh.

I guess I test in 15 now?
 
Yes, please feed a little HC and test in 20 mins.

Did you feed a little through the cycle? That helps them surf lower numbers without dipping into lime.

She has earned a reduction back to 0.5U :-)

I always give her snacks throughout the day, and for weeks we dont even get close to green.

She is back up to 3.2 now, so that's a relief. Should I really drop to 0.5 even though this is the first green we've seen?
