Bethanocol dosage

Has anyone's cat been on Bethanocol? What was the dosage? Mouse was on it for a couple weeks in October at 1.25 mg. It didn't work, so she was taken off of it. She is still a peeing mess and her bladder is still huge and full. My thought is to try a higher dose. Our new vet says 1.25 mg is kind of the max for cats. True???? Mouse weighs 7.7 lbs. currently.

I have not used it sorry, but I think you need to be guided by the vet as to the dose.
What is she having it for?

My Patches II used it and the dosage was ¼ to 1, 5mg tablet every 8-12 hours.

Oh, I intend to listen to the vet. I just read that minimum dosage is 2.5 mg. Mouse was on 1.25 mg before. It was never changed. Just stopped. Something needs to stop the pee!!!
