Best lowfat foods for Pancreatitis/diabetes?

I feed Babee Wellness and Merrick canned only. Since she just got out of the hospital with pancreatitis, I am now looking for lowfat foods. Is there a current list of low carb and lowfat foods anywhere? I have Binkys(?) list but I think it is not updated. Babee has the diarrhea again today, so I want to get her on the right diet ASAP.

Just look through Binky's list and skim down the fat column would be a good start.

You can add fortiflora to foods and it can help with the loose stool.

You might want to get the book YOUR CAT, SIMPLE NEW SECRETS TO A LONGER,STRONGER LIFE by Elizabeth M Hodgkins

(one of leading experts on diabetes in cats and TIght Regulation). The whole book is invaluable and though it does have just 2 pages on pancreatitis she adddresses this low fat notion as it pertains to cats.

I got it on Amazon and finally got around to reading it last night.

Hi Kelly, I'm glad to hear Babee is home at last!

Of the brands you are currently feeding, the 2 flavors lowest in fat are Merrick's Cowboy Cookout (beef) and Grammy's Pot Pie (chicken and chicken liver). They are both 42% fat which is medium fat and low carb. If they are flavors that you know she already likes you could start there.
