Best Diabetic Cat Food for other cats too

Hello -

I am new to this sight and Mom to Brinkley, a 15 yr. old diabetic cat, who is doing great health-wise, but my other 2 non-diabetic cats are having tummy issues with his food. They are currently eating Science Diet - W/D and have also tried SD Metabolism. l've tried feeding them separately from Brinkley, but leaving out food for Brinkley all the time, allows access for the other 2 cats (Tanner & Ali) too.

Q: Can anyone offer a tasty, filling diabetic food for all 3 cats that won't effect their tummy?

Most of us feed our own cats Fancy Feast Classics, Friskies pate's or 9-Lives ground because they're under 10% carbs, easy to find and affordable.

W/D is not appropriate for a diabetic cat. It used to be that vets would suggest high fiber food for diabetics, but newer research shows that it's carbohydrates that are most important.
Canned W/D is about 25% carbs...the kibble is about 35%....and it also contains my pet peeve ingredient they laughingly call "powdered cellulose"...that's a fancy word for sawdust (which is why it's so high in fiber).
