I am needing input from others as to what they believe is the best Canned cat food for cats with FD.

Hello Keith welcome! Most of us feed a canned food that is below 10 carbs. If you’re in the U.S., here is a link to the chart we use
http://catinfo.org/docs/CatFoodProteinFatCarbPhosphorusChart.pdf
You can also look at the ingredients listed on the can and check for carb sources such as grains, potatoes and tapioca. Fancy Feast Classic and Friskies Pate are two reasonably priced and easy to find foods that are fine for your kitty.

Welcome! You want to keep the carbs as low as possible since they impact blood glucose, definitely under 10%, but lower is better. The cat food database is extremely helpful. You can enter your desired parameters and filter down to the foods that meet them. Then, it becomes a matter of trying some things and seeing what your baby likes (sometimes that is the hard part and may require going through a lot of different foods). Here is a link to it: http://catinfo.org/chart/index.php. (I find it much easier to use than the list version for which Sharon provided a link, but it should be the same data.) Dr. Lisa Pierson, who made the list, suggests starting with: "protein minimum of 40, fat maximum of 50, carb max of 10, and for cats with kidney issues....phos less than 300."

I feed my girls Weruva Chicken Frick A' Zee.
