Oh dear Lord!! I don’t know what to do it seems like Bella is only getting worse. Tuesday she had a bad day of throwing up clear slimy liquids, almost immediately after she’d drink water, & not eating hardly anything. Then woke up Wednesday morning at 2:30, 4:30 & 6:30am hungry. Then the rest of the day hardly eating. She didn’t touch her food since 6pm yesterday & I even warmed her up some baked chicken this morning and nothing. She’s thrown up once again already. At 4:30AM her BG was 436 & it’s time for her 1.5 units of Lantus. Just rechecked it now @ 6:30 & it’s 364. She still isn’t wanting to eat so I guess I’ll give it to her without her eating. She’s such a wonderful cat and used to always jump in my lap for loving but not jump trying to love on her is sad bc she hisses thinking she’s gonna get poked again. The thought of putting her down has crossed my mind more here lately, I can’t stand to see her this way, I’m afraid she’s hurting too & she’s so skinny. Please pray that I’ll make the right decision!! Her vet wants to send her to a specialist in Houston but honestly I don’t have the money.

Sending prayers but...didnt her vet give you anything for nausea and inappitence?
No, I honestly don’t think he was very knowledgeable about fd. I even had him look at her bottom bc I thought her has hemorrhoids but he said she was fine, it was just protruding bc she’s lost so much weight. Well now she bleeds a little when she does have a vm. I called the ER hospital he wanted me to take her to & it’s $150 just to walk in the door. I just don’t have it

"For kitties with digestive system issues, it can help to feed smaller, more frequent meals. At the simplest this helps reduce the likelihood of excessive build-up of stomach acid between meals."
