I haven't posted in a really long time, but I wanted to come by and say thank you for this board, though I wasn't a very active member. By reading the posts here and researching, I learned a lot and was able to help my sweet old man Lil Dude.
Sadly, in early August of this year, I had to say goodbye to him. He was diagnosed with chronic renal failure about a year ago or so before he died, and though we did everything in our power, his kidneys failed him. Though he did live a good long time after his diagnosis of diabetes, and that's all because of what I learned from this forum and the information shared here. Even my vet learned a lot because of the information I got from reading the posts from others who also deal with this issue.
So thank you for your support and I hope you all continue to have success with your wonderful furbabies. Because they really are precious.
