Hello,
I am not sure if anyone remembers myself and Boots. We were on the site Oct./08-2010.
I just wanted to say hello and thank everyone. Boots is now 17 and is on 1/2 unit twice a
day. The vet says her test results show up as a normal cat, no sign of the diabetes. a1c's
perfect.

She is going to have a bunch of dental work done soon. She has advanced stage mouth disease.
Maybe after, she can be OTJ!???

I want to apologize that I disappeared. Life got pretty overwhelming. My daughter has diabetes 1
and started having complications. we were in emergency more times than I can count. This last
Thanksgiving and Christmas was the time in years we weren't at the hospital. She is doing better.
Not out of the woods.

anyway I am very proud of what this site does and have recommended it quite often.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
Shelly

Hi .. so glad to hear that Boot's is doing so well .. good luck with the dental, maybe that just might be the trick to OTJ! Sorry to hear your daughter has not been doing so hot .. I hope the hospital visits are a thing of the past for her ..

Hi Shelly :) Nice to see you over here  I hope you'll come by and visit more often.

Hi Dyana,
Yes it's been a very long time....definitely will...especially after dental work. Plus, now that my life is
a tiny bit more sane, I wouldn't mind sharing anything I've hopefully learned.

I wasn't here when you were but it's great to hear your sweet kitty is doing so well and I hope your daughter is doing well, too.

Good luck with the dental!

Thank you for for the dental info Sienne. I am going to go with a specialist, but still desire to know
as much as possible, so most appreciated! and thank you Marje. Gracie's BS's look great today
