Beau wanted to be tested this morning (Friday June 11)

I got all set up for Jeddie and called him over, but Beau came instead. He jumped up and sat down on the testing blanket. He hasn't done this for months. Unfortunately, his BG was 141. It was about an hour after he ate. So, I guess I wil be testing him a few time this weekend. Sigh....

Beau had seemed a little more willing to interact with me and the other kitties. He actually got on my lap for a while on Sunday. He NEVER gets on my lap. I mean in the 10+ years I have had him, he has probably gotton on my lap a dozen times. Of course, this make sme worry about him, but so far he just seems to feel a little less depressed or rejected than he has since I got Jeddie and he got back on insulin so I was testing him all the time (and not Beau).

Jeddie was 135 last night, so he was even better than Beau, but of course that's on insulin. He was 172 this morning.

That is so sweet when Beau does that. I remember when he did it before. If Tigger had his way there would never be any testing done again, but he does sit patiently for it even after all these years. Well, sometimes he is not so patient, but he tolerates it well enough.

Nice numbers for Jeddie though and I hope Beau is able to bring himself down pretty quickly from that 141.

One of these days I will get my spreadsheet updated and bring you all up to date on Tigger.

I tested Beau right after he ate this morning (Sat.) and he was 90, which is more normal for him.

Jeddie was 118 and I shot the full dose, so I have to get some spot checks in on him and will probably get one on Beau too if he is "available". He has been sleeping in high places where I can't get to him easily....
