Bear 3-21/AMPS 330/+2.5 336/+4.25 305/

So it is a beautiful spring day, about 67 degrees and i let Bear outside to enjoy the weather.
When I have let him out before he is always interested in eating the greenery usually soft bladed grasses, just a nibble or two of the ends
Then he just explores and then settles and lays down watching us and our German Shepherd.
Today he was acting a bit frantic and practically ran, as quickly as her neuropathy allowed and made a beeline to the grass.
When I picked him up and took him further away from the grass/weeds he again with determination ran back to eat the greens.
I finally cut his outside time after moving him 4 different times and brought him in.

I now have him on Omeprazole 10mg 2X every 12 hours.
He is acting pretty desperate to eat the grass/weeds.

Does anyone have any ideas to help him?
Apparently his cravings for greens is extreme.
Possibly his stomach is still off?

You might want to note food exceptions in the Remarks in the spreadsheet, so you have an idea why he’s cruising a little higher.

Have you gotten a ketone test lately?

Do you have cat grass for him? I have a cat I couldn’t leave grass out for cause she puked it up right after. Neko was a cow kitty, loved grazing outdoor grass, ignored the stuff I had indoors.

I haven't gotten a ketone test lately. I will make sure to get one when I get back from mom's wound care appt. Thanks for the reminder, things have been really hectic. :)
No, I don't have any cat grass.
When I looked last all I could find was green growing catnip. I didn't think that was a good idea for Bear since he eats the dried catnip like it is candy.
