BD vs SureComfort Syringes—Volume??

Hello! I have read Caliper Dosing sticky. I’m not wanting to do dosing with calipers but I had a question about measurements of volume between syringes.

I have been using the BD syringes but just bought a box of the SureComfort. I want to keep the current dose consistent when I make the switch. I know there is a difference in millimeters between the two syringes but since I am not using a caliper, how close is the volume between the two?

Does anyone know if the SureComfort will be close to the same volume or is it slightly less or more than the BD?

If you have one each of the two types of syringes just compare the marking on the barrel. Is the distanbeween the the Zero and 30 unit marking the same? If one is larger then that syringe has less volume per mm.

There’s really no way to get them side by side to accurately gauge that.

I was hoping someone had done a volume test between the two
