Ok I feel like I’m going crazy but I just openned my new box of BD u-100 syringes 3/10mL (switching to Lantus soon) and I literally feel like every plunger goes way past the zero line . Like every one in the box! Does anyone else find this? I can’t find a good one to even use as a base line! I have a calliper and will try my best for accuracy but yikes this dosing is hard when only doing 0.5/0.75 units ! These syringes are bought in Canada BTW not sure if that makes a difference.

Sure! How do I attach a picture here ? It’s asking me for image url? Not sure how to just add it from my photos

I think you can drag and drop it in the text box or copy paste it from a screenshot.

I am in Canada and used those syringes. Similar issues. Neko's dose at the end was under the zero line.. I called it 0.25 units. You have a couple options. First is push the plunger as far up as you can and mark that spot as your real zero line. With calipers you don't need to use the syringe lines anyway. Second option, and what I also did, get a different pair of calipers with thinner small arms. Those are the ones used to measure the insides of things. Here is one example. My hubby got me something similar at his favourite tool store. Then use the smaller arms under the rim at the top of the BD's and measure from that down. You can validate if the plunger goes all the way down to that rim first.

Thank you! Glad to know I’m not the only one and yes I like both your options thx!
