We are not off to a very good start on this Monday morning. It's raining in Htown with some thunder every now & then. We have the BG to prove it. Yes, Baxter is in his closet hiding.

AMPS-304-.4 I really wanted to give him .5, but he didn't eat much because he wanted to hide. So I was a little scared giving him so much.

I hope everyone has a better morning then what we are having. :-D

Hopefully the storms will pass and Baxter will stop hiding!

It is just one cycle--- hang in there!

Oh the poor baby!
I hate those thunderstorms and how they scare the babies!
Hopefully they will subside and Baxter will have a good afternoon, with a good pmps!

+7-224- he threw up. Now he is under observation.

The storms are gone & have been gone for awhile.

Just hoping his PMPS isn't in the 300's. I have a plan in place if it is. I'm doing .5.

Sorry to hear Baxter vomited, too. Poor little fella  I hope it was a one-time thing

Hoping for a great PMPS, too!

Maybe it was just the storm that stressed him out. Mine barely flinch during hurricane force winds/rain or when you hear the neighbor's tin roof flapping in the breeze! They do seem to wonder why they can't be in the sunroom (9 windows) though! Like THAT's an option!!!

Hope he's feeling better soon... maybe some time on the flat thing will make him feel better... Birdies! Right!

You have gotten so many thunderstorms lately. Is that normal for your area this time of year? We have the strangest weather this year too. So, so warm. My cats don't seem to care about the thunderstorms unless they are outside. My dog, annie, on the other hand is terrified of them. She shakes and hides anywhere she can or finds me so i can save her and comfort her. Such a big baby. Don't blame her though. Was in a really bad storm on top of a very high mountain with a bunch of kids camping when a lightening bolt hit the tree we were all huddled under. All our hair stood up on our heads and you could smell the burning of hair. Nobody got hurt, thankyou God, but it sure did scare the .....out of me. I run for cover, not under a tree, when the storms hit now. Always wonder if any of the kids ever camped again. That was a miserable campng trip for the kids. I still love camping though.

Hope baxter is feeling better soon! Was the vomit just a hair ball?

Thank you everyone for you kind words.

PMPS-312-.5 I was about 45 minutes late feeding & giving him insulin.

I live close to Galveston I'm about 30-40 minutes from the beach. So its tropical where I am. It usually rains in the afternoon. Lately, it's been raining all the time. We need it because we were in a drought.

The throw up was a yellowish liquid with maybe some fur? He was grooming his self last week. So maybe it was a fur ball. I hope.

What do you brush him with? We found a vacuum cleaner brush works well for Hershey (not attached to the vacuum!). Hershey used to like being vacuumed before we got this new one. ;-)

It's about time you got home! Grayson was missing his buddy, and I was about ready to break out in song, "Galveston, Oh Galvaston..." but decided to share with you what I heard on the way home from work instead... a catchy little tune... quite fitting for Hershey and Euk today.... (do you smell the salty breezes????) Come to Jamaica-mon! "Bump bump bump-pa bump-pa bump, bump bump bump-pa bump-pa bump... how LOOOOW will they go???" Now I know what you'll have playing in your head all night tonight!!! dancing_cat Tee hee!!!

I have a brush for long haired cats. I have tried to shop vac him a couple of times.. he hates it.

Don't start singing the limbo song...oh no. Its going to be stuck in my head for days. :dizcat Thanks a lot.
Baxter has watched his birds on the flat thing.....supervised only. So don't expect any messages from him.

Thanks, Lu-Ann  Hoping Hershey has gone as low as he plans to go since he's hovering (37) - (38) nailbite_smile

+5-213
I really thought he would be a little lower then that with the .5. I am so glad this day is over.
Looking forward to a new day with new numbers. Let all the new numbers be good. :-D

Oh I forgot its suppose to rain again. Oh great.
