Hi Everyone,

Basil is a little grumpy about my posting this but I couldn't let the day go by without celebrating 6 months off the juice!

To think it was just about a year ago, give or take a few days, that we were bringing a thirsty bedraggled Basil to the vet wondering what could be wrong and thinking maybe he was getting old enough at 13 to just have no energy. Now, at 14, he is like a young kitty again--playful, affectionate and he spends his happy days in the sun, right on the edge of the deck (which is 1 story off the ground) watching the woods and all the creatures there.

Thank you again to everyone who helped us get here. Check out his ss! His bg remains good. We remark about our good fortune and our good LL friends at least once a week!

Awww, what a great report! Super Congratulations for Basil! Isn't it great to have your kitty back to his happy energetic self? I love to hear about kitties doing so well.

Glad you updated us on how Basil is doing, I look forward to his next anniversary. :-D

Wow - 6 mos already! Congratulations. It's wonderful hearing how well Basil is doing. Gabby decided to follow your suggestion and show some green.

Congratulations Lydia and Basil on 6 Months OTJ! What a wonderful report for Basil? Isn't it amazing how once they are OTJ they become so alive with their kitten like playfulness. It's like their youth has returned. It sounds like Basil is enjoying the view from the deck. Way to go Basil! Have fun on the deck watching all the creatures. :

Instead of thirsty, bedraggled, Basil, we have that beautiful feline whose picture I love!!
