Hi

We're trying to get Bailey back into stable numbers but it is a struggle. He seems to have been doing well at first after we knocked his dose down to 3.75 from 4 units. Whilst on 4 units he was clearly getting too low and bouncing.

We had some good day figures but realised we needed to be testing more after his PM shot as this is when he was going lowest.

We are still quite new to all this and dosing is proving difficult so hoping someone with experienced eyes can steer us back on track.

We have upped him as from this morning back onto 4 units so the next few days we should see how he's settling in but thinking he may be on too much owing to the bounces whilst on this dose previously.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this.

Good Morning Barnes

Sorry for not seeing this sooner been a wild few weeks here.

I see you took Bailey back up to 4u which appears to be a wise choice. He looks perfect there. However you should have been fine to have shot on that blue preshot. Every time you completely skip a dose his shed drains to compensate so it has to rebuild before he gets the full dose to use to lower his blood sugar thus the higher numbers your seeing this morning.

Thanks Mel

Appreciate you taking a look and for the feedback.

We feel comfortable again at good old 4U!

We didn't skip his AMPS yesterday that was my fault I didn't add in the data it's updated now - apologies that was not v helpful of me!

OK we're holding him at 4U and keeping a watchful eye.

Thanks again for the words of wisdom - keeping you posted!
