Back from camping...Cooper doing good!

Got back from camping for a week and copper is doing great. Had my neighbor stay with animals and test and shoot copper. She did GREAT! Copper actually stayed very stable for her. She would text me 2xday to just confirm what dosage to give. No problems at all....THANK Goodness!! She actually got him to eat out of timer in middle of night, so now i don't need to stay up with him...YEAH!!

I acutally wasn't worried at all about him after the first night and our family had a great time.

Update on copper's neuopathy..... He is walking on his paws again and jumping up on everything. He has all his muscles back and endurance. Before he got dx he would go halfway down our mtn we live on and sit at our pond and catch frog's. Every day now when i let him out in the morning, he goes down to the pond and sits. I have to go get him when it's time to eat. He actually came running back one day when i hit the can for him to come in. I was shocked! So he is Sooooo much better. I'm so glad. It took 10mths to get healed. Now only wish he was OTJ. But, still hoping.

So nice to read such positive news and very happy you had a great vacation with your family. Hope the weather was nice (it rained a lot here, but it's that time of year).

Hey Carl,

Yes, we had some rain and thunderstorms at least once a day, but still had a great time. We stayed in the nanahalla nat'l forest on fontana lake. The lake is so clean and we, especially my dog, enjoyed the cool water. I hated to come home and get back to the schedule of life. It's nice to escape everything for a week. Hope i can do it more now that i have someone trained.

Hey Lori - Sounds like a good time was had by all! And Hannah did AWESOME as we all expected!!! Kudos to her!!! And Copper - running for his food? (not to mention checking out the froggies!!!) Woo Hoo!!!

I know it was hard to leave him, but it seems like it was good for all of you. Glad you're home, even if it means the old routine!
 
Thanks you all! So good to hear from everyone. Feel like i've been gone from my family too long. I've got to catch up on everyone soon! Feelin lost on where everyone is now and how they are doing.

So happy to hear Cooper did so well while you were gone and is up on his paws and enjoying his frog pond.
Thats about the same amount of time it took Henry to see an improvement with his walking.
