I see you increased to 1.5 u yesterday and I think that was a good thing to try. Baby is a bouncy girl and sometimes even a tiny tweak will give you a big reaction. I'd be brave and give 1.5 u again this AM. Get a test at +2 to see where she is then. It can be a good predictor of what might happen in the cycle.

Ok Kris thank you... I’ll test at +2... that was just so unexpected & I do worry about each little drop of insulin! Ok breathing now!

Great story! I’m sure Baby feels this way at times! I just had her get up & walk an hour after that last shot! Lol poor thing just wants a nap...lol

That yellow at +2 tells you this cycle will most likely be calm so you can wait until later to test. One around +6 or +7 would be good because this is a new-ish dose.

Except she broke the rule about a calm cycle if +2 isn't much lower. It could be that Baby's onset is a bit later so I'd revise that safety check time to +3 going forward.

Ok I will. I’m really thinking the test strip this am might have been bad. She did step on it before I moved it to the side of the table?!? Maybe not? Thanks, I’ll do a +3 if this presents itself again, or recheck immediately.

She’s doing great & thanks for asking! Pretty good numbers for today! How’s Magi doing? Still no insulin? Keeping my fingers & Babys crossing her paws for an OTJ party!!! Such a beautiful tuxy girl kitty you have! I’m glad she pooped because that can raise those numbers! It’s amazing the way this disease works & is dependent on all of the endocrine system working correctly.
