B12 shots with "short" needles?

I am starting Cami on B12 and want to use my u100 syringes (since I have them) but they are short. Will they work? I watched the vet give B12 to my aunt's cat and it seems to be given IM on the side of the spine.

FYI, Cami is very thin with little subQ fat.

I'm a little unsure of how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. (feel like I am back as a novice with the vial and syringe!).

The short needles should be fine. Just give it subQ like you give insulin except use a different location.
