I've got a diabetic cat, and have been using all the information I've read here and elsewhere to get him under control. His BG is still high, but much more stable than it had been. He has neuropathy in his back legs. I know the number 1 thing I need to do is to get his BG under control (working on it), in the meantime I'm curious about a b12 supplement that might help. He has CKD stage 3, although the last couple check ups he's had the vet was very encouraged and said if she hadn't diagnosed him with CKD before she wouldn't know it from his numbers now. I've read conflicting info about cyanocobalamin vs methlycobalamin.

Anyone have any good advice or links for b12 supps for cats? Hopefully it will only be temporary, but I would love for him to have an easier time getting around. Thank you much.

We used Methl B12 and it work for Trouble. BUT it does work in conjunction with lower BG numbers.

Good luck! You've already taken the most important step and that is finding us!

Hi Kyle and Vlad,
I used Zobaline from lifelink.com online for Sheba's neuropathy.
She had it badly, she couldn't jump on chairs or beds, would slip and slide, had to sit down frequently etc, but over time (getting the BG levels down to normal or near normal) and with Zobaline she regained all her mobility.
It's not something that can be fixed overnight. You need to get the BGs down as well as give the Methyl B 12.
Methyl B 12 is not the same as injections of vitamin B at the vet. Vets don't carry Methyl B12.... in fact many have not heard of it.
