B-12 injection dose

For those of you that have given your cat B-12 injections, how much was the dose? My vet has given us 6 needles that are 1.5 units each. From what I am reading online, it appears the standard dose is .5 mL.

The dose in ml depends upon the concentration.
One standard concentration is 1000 mcg/ml.
