I found this and it has helped so much already!

I have 7 cats and Leo not only needs wet food but also food for his allergies. It has been so hard to feed everyone and not have Leo sneaking some of their food. I have to stand and wait until they are finished eating and put the food back up.

I found these feeders and thought it only worked if they were microchipped, but then found you can get tags for their collars to work. It actually comes with one tag. They also have feeders if you need to time it or check how much they are eating. I didn't need that, so I went with the more basic one.

I use this feeder for Leo. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MXDFB28/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20 It lets me keep the food chilled and I can time it overnight and then move to a blank section 2 hours before his injection time.

THESE ARE THE FEEDERS THAT ONLY ALLOW A PROGRAMMED CHIP TO ACCESS IT

Surepet Microchip Pet Feeder (doesn't need the hub) - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O0UIPTY/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20
Feeder that connect to hub for more detailed feeding - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RHZHHGN/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20
Hub - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072JFR3KH/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20
Additional Tags (feeder comes with one tag) - needed if your cat isn't microchipped : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B5BEK54/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20

It has been less than a week and all the cats are using the feeder. They were a little nervous at first because it opened but it doesn't make a sound it was just the motion. I would let them eat out of it open and then gradually I would let it open on its own and they would eat. Now they know to walk up to it and it opens.

Hope this helps someone else. It has made my life a little easier ;)

Just FYI those links are in my affiliate account.

I use two of those for my twins, Wiggles and boots. They get fed in one room and before I got them Wiggles, who eats fast would push Boots away from his food. I also purchased the stainless steel dished for the feeders.

I have two of the SurePet feeders to keep Cracker from eating Chloe and Indie's food to help him slim down. It works. Over the past year he has gone from 22 lbs to 15 lbs and it acting like a kitten again. He is 11 1/2 years old.

I need to get a couple more to keep Charlie out of Duquessa and Mona's food. He inhales his food and then goes and cleans their bowls too. In 4 months he has gone from being underweight to getting chunky. The price has gone up since I bought the other two but they are worth it if you are trying to control your cats diets.

The Sure Petcare Microchip feeders are the best thing I ever spent a small fortune on. At first I got them to separate Ruby's wet food from her sister's dry. Now that both of my cats eat wet food, it helps me keep track of how much each cat is eating. If it weren't for the feeders, Ruby would be eating all of the food for both of them. Now they are both much less stressed at feeding time and they no longer scarf down their food to make sure the other doesn't eat it, so less barfing too. Win win for this cat mom!
