Toying with the auto feeder idea for days we can't be home all day except we use canned food only. Seems most auto feeders are geared to dry food. Anyone use anything that works with canned food and it won't dry out?

Many people adapt them for wet food. They put some sort of cold pack under the dish or they set out a sequence of wet food temperatures something like: fresh out of can in the earliest slot, ice cube on top in the next, chuck of frozen wet food in the latest. I don't use an autofeeder but the Petsafe 5 (I think I have that right) is popular.
