Authority cat food

Does anyone have information on Authority cat food? Is this cat food not good because it has brewer's rice? It seems ok as far as carbs go on Binky's chart. Am I interpreting it wrong?

I'd be interested in responses to this as well.

Before the diagnosis, my cats got Authority dry cat food as I liked the meat as the first ingredient, and no corn meal fillers, and how when you opened the bag, it actually smelled like fish instead of smelling like corn meal.

But, knowing manufacturers, and what they do to increase profits without increasing prices (add more fat and fillers), I'm curious how up-to-date Binky's list is. I'm not knocking Binky...I think what she did was awesome, and know it was very time-consuming. I just don't trust the manufacturers to not be adding carbs as fillers.

Ammonzon: Innova EVO turkey and chicken canned food states "Less than 7% carbs" right on the can, my cats like it, and it comes in large (13.2 oz.) cans. (I paid $1.89 per can.)

I am talking about the canned Authority chicken pate food. If it contains brewers rice, that cannot be a good thing, I'm assuming.

Ammonzon: I knew you were talking about the canned food, but I was just telling you about my experience with Authority in general, and gave you the name of a canned cat food that professes right on the label to be below 7% carbs.
