I'm testing A LOT as Bonnie as been on the big dipper. It's tine for the financial burden to ease. My vet (only his 2nd diabetic cat in the practice) sold me the Alphatrak. With strips at $76 for 50 I was in tears bcoz I dropped 11 on a wet floor - that's $15!!!! I will use needles instead of lancets (28cents each which is ridiculous when you can get then for $2 a bag of 100 in Florida!! Sooo considering everything which human Meter should I buy? I'm running out of testing strips and $78 is ridiculous for 50. It's urgent bcoz I dropped them. ANY help is GREATLY appreciated as everyone was so kind and I have 444 tins of FF + 72 more today NOW I need great monitoring as she's down from the mid to high 20s and is mainly in the blue zone now!!! BEST HUMAN MONITOR? THANK YOU

Once you get the first lot of test strips, you can buy the following one on eBay for a lot less.
Where are you getting your lancets?
You can get them for around 16 to 17$ a box of 100

Check out where you get the new meter from and they should have the lancets so you can have both for the same postage.
