I am sharing a spreadsheet. My vet seems to be at a loss and so am I. It started with Archie admitted to ER, after stopping eating. After 6k, and a hospital stay he was diagnosed in September. Lantus, 2 units. He moved below 100 One night so doctor said do 1 but then we went back to 2 units. At first the vet said his numbers were good but we noticed he still drank and peed a lot. His numbers increased over time and we, with vet guidance, moved him up slowly until we got to 4 units, a food change (Purina DM to Wysong Epigen 90 and got a new vial. That is when we noticed positive change but it's a mess now. I am attaching a chart with numbers. We finally. Noticed him peeing and drinking less until today as his numbers are high again.
He will NOT eat wet. He was adopted and must have started as a kitten on dry cause we have tried everything. He will not eat if not dry. Any guidance is appreciated.
