This article is good but technical. It mentions pancreatitis and the need for pain medication with buprenorphine the preferred drug and nausea medication, cerenia and ondansetron for those whose vets don’t want to prescribe them.

I’ve had a chance to read some of it and the author puts Pepcid or tge like as well as motility drugs in the nausea category. They would only work if acid or motility issues were causing the nausea. The drugs for pancreatitis are cerenia and ondansetron. Newer finding is that cats don’t have an acid issue as often as dogs or people although it is possible.
