Are we making progress

It has now been 7 days since I lowered Lily's insulin from 4 units to 2 units. She is only eating Friskies Pate and the occasional freeze dried chicken and salmon as a treat when she lets test her levels. Are we making any progress? I'm sorry but I don't know how to link previous posts.

Yes she's making progress! Those blue preshots are a clue she's going lower overnight, we just don't know how low. I would hold this dose for now.

If you don't mind, could you add something like "semi-feral, frequent testing difficult" to your signature?

Like Melissa said, you're seeing some movement!! If you're able, it's also a good thing to try to get a "before bed" test most nights. Many cats experience lower numbers over night. Getting a test may help to know what's influencing some of the higher AMPS results.

If you can get nighttime tests, I would focus on days her AMPS is high (red or black) and the PMPS is pink. The trend seems to be when that happens she's on her way down and goes low overnight, I'd aim for a +6 maybe?
