Feel like I should make a thread just in case he keeps going down and I need help. I have gotten some really terrible family news today and want to make sure I am thinking right to help Harold through this.

He ate at @+2.1, gave him just a 1/4 can of LC food but thinking I should give some HC now.

I’m so sorry you got really bad family news.
You probably shot a really low number this morning so I would keep testing and give some higher carb food if he drops under 3. He could have been low since last night as he was only 3.2 at +3. Best to keep testing if you get a low number like that early in the cycle.
You need to reduce the dose down to 1 unit. If the BG hasn’t risen high enough, you may need to skip the pm dose. Se how he goes.

I just shot his PM shot. He was uo to 7.8 so I gave him 1 unit. I will stay up until atleast +4 to make sure he is fine tonight.
I meant to get another shot lastnight but must have fell asleep, feel pretty awful but am so happy he was alright.
I'm assuming he was under 2.8 when I shot this morning as the 3.1 would have definitely been influenced by food.

Gave some low carb food. I was able to control the earlier low numbers with low carb, will add in HC if it goes much lower.

I made a new thread, but I missed this mornings dose snd he is still only at 4.7@+22
Should I stick to 1 unit or reduce further?
