Apr 27 Fa/amps 86

Yesterday Fa was still not asking for much food but I gave her some pouch food and she seems to enjoy more.

we skipped insulin this morning since she was under 90.

I was then so relieved when she started to do the usual and ask me for food for breakfast.

I ended up going to get some low carb canned food and she could not stop asking for more . It’s so great to see she is back to herself . Poor thing went through so much yesterday , the car ride , the temperature taking and vet feeling if her stool very hard and gave medication . She pooped in the carrier on our way back home and tough for her I am sure. :oops: Not to mention that the vet and nurse were not able to get her blood (public holiday so they were short staffed ) and they almost wanted to give some gas in order to draw blood. Hubby and I had asked to join in to help but they did not think it’s necessary until they found that they really were not able to do it themselves. We finally managed to get blood when we joined in but there was the time the blood did not come and I had to see the nurse use the needle to keep poking . What a day!

Funny thing is that we saw today the vet Facebook said they would no longer be open on Sunday or public holidays . We were lucky yesterday indeed. :blackeye:
