I have some of Fred's Lantus that I would like to give to a needy kitty.

I have used the cartridges. At the moment I have 4 vials--two are unopened. 1 is barely opened/used and antoher is about 1/2way full--but still good.

I have always used the cartridges for many many months each--up to 5 or 6 months even and have never found that they went bad. (They are always refrigerated).

Anyway I am in the NYC area, on the UWS and would like to give these to one or more people. Preferably would like to give to someone (or several people) who is financially struggling, although I need to get rid of them sooner rather than later so they are still viable.

Please contact me by private message if you are interested, or have suggestions.

I also just wanted to extend my sympathy, Martika. It's kind of you to share. I know Fred is at the Bridge, out of pain, and welcomed by our other LL furbabies.

Re: Anyone with financial hardship in NYC/NJ/CT area want La

Dear Martica,
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of Fred. It is very kind of you to pass his insulin cartridges along to someone in financial need. I recently donated some of Stu's diabetes supplies to a local animal shelter, which was extremely happy to receive them. If you do not hear from someone on this board, perhaps a shelter would be a good alternative.
Fly free, dear Fred!

In sympathy,
Ella
