Anyone near Omaha NE that could give a kitty a lift?

Hi all my name is Max,

I'm an extra sweet guy that could use a small lift getting to my new Mom and Dad. I've had kind of a rough start and done a bunch of traveling but it looks like I finally have some nice beans to call my own. Now I just have to get to them.

Here is my story. I use to live in New Orleans then this this thing called a Hurricane came and took away my house, but I ended up being adopted by a nice lady and moved to MA she was my momma for awhile. Then she had to go away too. To someplace called a nursing home and I couldnt go with her. This would have been bad enough but just cause I have something called diabetes they said I should be put to sleep, but I wasn't the least bit tired so I'm not sure why they wanted me to go to sleep. Anyhow this nice lady who is now my Aunt Claudia called some other nice people and they in turn called a nice couple in Nebraska that agreed to become my new mom and dad.

Now I have a plane ticket for a ride to Omaha NE but my new furparents live in Hastings. If anyone out there could give me a lift part of the way to their house they would really appreciate it. They are more than willing to drive all the way to Omaha for me. (I'm that special). But it would really nice if they didn't have to. So can anybody give a guy a lift? I will be arriving right about 8:30pm on this Friday.

There are a number of pet transport groups on Yahoo (I belong to some of them, but I'm not in Omaha), where you can post a transport request. Get references from the driver, unless the person is OTRA-verified. I'd avoid posting on Craigslist!

Sunday morning report on Max from CJ

He is so sweet. Nuzzles me and purrs. So adaptable it is unbelievable.

I will check in a few hours. Need to find the nadir. This boy with care from Mel may not need insulin. He is a little fussy about testing, but he will learn to bleed faster.

I have signed up for the Yahoo I-80 transport group. As soon as I am approved, I will post there for the Friday evening transport.

DH says never mind trying to get a ride part way to get Max. List him as the recieving party and we will go get him ourselves. He is gonna be our new son the least we can do is meet him at the airport.
