Anyone have a good vet on Long Island?

Hi, I'm an oldie from the message board. I have a friend who has a newly diagnosed diabetic cat. She came to me for advice and I told her about home testing, diet etc... Her vet does not support home testing and won't show her how to do it when she asked. She has been calling around to other vets with no luck. There used to be a link to a list of vets people from the board were going to, but I can't find it now. Does it still exist? If not, does anyone have a vet on LI they recommend?

I don't think we still have a vet list. You may get some ideas here; I would also post on Community.
