Anyone have a Diabetic cat with CRF?

Adding to my stress is that Revson now has renal failure. I won't know the extent until tomorrow when the urinalysis comes back, however blood tests confirm the dx.

Looking for advice... again.

Hugs. Hobbs has kidney disease but he's not in failure yet. There's a lot of info on the internet, try Googling "Feline diabetes kidney failure" there's also a lot of info here:

I have had 2 cats with diabetes and CRF. I fed them Friskies Special Diet canned foods. The only flavor I limited was the Chicken & Gravy because of the carbs. Both cats already had CRF for several years before being diagnosed with diabetes. The SD seemed to keep both their BG levels and kidney values stable for several years.

If your cat does have CRF, you still could have several more years with him. Both of my cats lived for years after their original diagnosis of CRF.
